OUR STORY

In August of 2020, lifelong friends Jay Cooper and Matthew Monsour moved into an apartment together in East Lansing, Michigan. At the time, Matthew was completing his business degree at Michigan State University, and Jay was studying at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.

Quickly, their apartment became known by their friends as the premiere place to gather and enjoy Jay's cooking and Matthew's hospitality. When they discovered that this new-found talent was bringing them much popularity, Jay and Matthew began working on monetizing their success.

That is when The 405 Hospitality Group was born, named after the apartment unit where it all began.

Today, with the addition of Vincent Pucillo and Spencer Lukas, The 405 Hospitality Group provides experiences through culinary arts right from the comfort of your home, with future plans to open a brick-and-mortar location.
