Joseph "Jay" Cooper IV
Co Founder | Executive Chef
Jay is the Co-Founder & Executive Chef of The 405 Hospitality Group. He has thorough experience in the service industry, initially as a bartender before finding passion in cooking. He has been a Chef de Partie for the last 3 years. An avid outdoorsman, Jay was a fishing guide in Bonita Springs, FL. Jay has a Diploma of Education from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, where he majored in Culinary Arts and Management.

Matthew Monsour
Co-Founder | Business Development Director
Matthew is the Business Development Director of The 405 Hospitality Group. Outside of the 405, he is an Associate & Property Manager for CNM Property Group, his family-owned real estate business based in Michigan. Matthew graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Finance. He was also college roommates with Jay Cooper for two years, serving as an honorary Maître D’ of the original Unit 405 Apartment.

Vincent "Vinnie" Pucillo
Co-Founder | Operations Director, Sous Chef
Vincent serves as the Operations Director and Sous Chef for The 405 Hospitality Group. His hospitality experience includes working at The Dixboro Project in Ann Arbor, MI as a server, host, and barista. He also previously worked at Red Haven in Okemos, MI as a server. Vincent graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Marketing and Wealth Management. He first met Matthew in college, where he introduced Vincent to Jay as both enjoyed cooking. The rest is history.

Spencer Lukas
Co-Founder | Maître D’ & Creative Director
Spencer serves as the Maître D’ & Creative Director at The 405 Hospitality Group. He has previously worked as a bartender at Café Zola in Ann Arbor, where he gained a passion for mixology and customer service. Along with his work in the restaurant industry, Spencer is pursuing a career in risk management solutions. Spencer earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan in the Spring of 2024.
